Gaia Environmental was founded by Oshin Whyte—environmental scientist, policy advisor, and the first woman from the Turks and Caicos Islands to become a certified Dive Master with over 1,000 logged dives.
Educated in the UK and shaped by the currents of island life, Oshin blends academic precision with deep cultural awareness. Her work has helped secure over $1.1 million in marine conservation funding through international partnerships.
